Our client is a leading company in the fortune 500 world. A global leader providing professional and managed services in various filed of industries with a wide range of solutions. The portfolio has a wide range from managed services, administrative services, support functions towards workforce training and also outsourcing and near-shoring solutions. To grow one of their German based BU’s the company is seeking a senior executive to lead this enterprise and ensure the growth and development of this operations with full P&L responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity for an executive to grow and develop his / her career and demonstrate his / her abilities leading a significant entity of the company. This position has exposure to the executive leadership team in Europe.   

To strengthen their internal team and capabilities, our client has an open position within our German operation – and looking for a senior leader to lead, run and develop the organization.

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written) and employing these skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders 

  • This includes the adaption of the global strategy for the German market and driving the execution in the country.

  • The Managing Director is being part of an international corporate network and ensures close international and local collaboration.

Role description

  • Leading and managing various transformation programs in Northern European countries 

  • Playing a critical role in programs development including target and priority setting between programs when needed

  • Driving the execution and managing the respective change with the responsible stakeholders in the countries

  • Leveraging technology in close cooperation with our vendors / 3rd parties to substantially reduce our cost base

  • Managing 3rd party suppliers and leveraging these capabilities on an ongoing basis to increase our efficiency and speed

  • Ensuring agreed SLAs will be met on a Northern European and country level

  • Re-designing internal core processes and driving a standardized alignment across Northern Europe and sharing best practices

  • Driving automation and digitization for all processes

  • Measuring effectiveness and ROI

  • Close cooperation and engagement with various stakeholders (Finance, IT, Business) on a Global, European and Country level

  • Establishing a culture of continuous improvement by applying the defined tools and ensuring the transformation is sustainable 


  • Transformation and change background in multinational environments in matrix organsation

  • At least 10 years consulting expertise out of the leading consulting companies combined with strong negotiating skills 

  • Strong people management skills, coaching and managing high performance and management teams through transformations

  • Experience in managing 3rd party vendors and partners and solid experience in continuous improvement (including daily management and problem solving on a Northern Europen level)

  • Earned authority to deal with and manage senior stakeholders to challenge the status quo
